Biopack for Rollermat XC

With the help of the BIOPAC, ROLLERMAT from a purely mechanical filter to a complete mechanical-biological filter station. The bioballs are simply poured into the drum. A sieve plug prevents the balls from getting back into the drain. The bioballs of the BIOPAC are filled with filter sponge to enlarge the inner surface. In the drum, they quickly become overgrown with bacteria and break down dissolved pollutants from the aquarium. Due to the slow rotation of the drum, the balls are moved repeatedly so that they cannot become muddy. Too much bacterial mass formed flakes off, the bacteria remain highly active.
